As a Jr. Designer, I worked on the very small team that developed the mobile gifting app Karma. In 2012, our product was acquired by Facebook (before they closed on Instagram, making it Facebook’s largest acquisition to date), and we rebuilt the experience on Facebook (both desktop and mobile) for the short-lived Facebook Gifts feature. My responsibilities included designing the iconography that would serve as the product’s de facto identity and creating specific views within the experience.
